FAQs
Does therapy change who you are?
Therapy has the potential to foster personal growth, self-awareness, and positive behavioral changes, but whether it fundamentally changes who you are depends on individual experiences and goals. For many, therapy is a transformative process that helps individuals align with their authentic selves and navigate life more effectively. Ultimately, the impact of therapy varies, and its goal is often more about personal evolution than complete alteration of one's core identity.
How long is a typical time to be in therapy?
Generally, individuals and families will receive a 3-, 6-, or 12-month projection of the work we can accomplish together in therapy. This varies depending on the presenting issue, as well as the therapy modality we choose together as a team.
We review progress every 6 weeks to track goals, celebrate wins and changes, and prepare for the next unfolding.
What is the typical financial investment in therapy?
Individuals may prepare to invest between $500 - $1200 USD per month, and families may prepare to invest between $1000 - $3000 USD per month. This is based on 1x weekly meetings or more.
In our practice, this is viewed similarly to ‘therapy tuition’, where individuals and families prepare to invest a monetary amount each month to attend a personalized therapy program focused on wellness, development, skills-learning, and deep connection to Self.
An important goal of the investment is to inspire motivation to complete each phase of the therapy journey in a timely fashion, and prepare to integrate the lessons each on their own.
Does Therapy always work?
Yes. Therapy works every single time, if you work it yourself. We discuss what this means in the first session.
