FAQs
What is the difference between Therapy and Life Enrichment Planning?
While Therapy is focused on healing something that is causing eruption of energy in your life, Life Enrichment Planning is a service that provides space for you to go from ‘feeling good’ to ‘feeling better’.
There comes a time in therapy where the more adaptive way of living produces handsome outcomes. It is at this time that individuals and families may find themselves wondering, ‘now that I am earning more, how do I go about growing this into a wealthy addition to a growing society?’ Or, ‘now that I feel more connected to my children, how do I lean into my creativity to maximise the time I have with them? Or, ‘now that I know myself better, how do I find a way to do more of what I love?’
These questions may have been a dream faraway at the beginning of therapy, but as the therapy starts to work and your life expands, sometimes it is helpful to talk through these upgrades, to receive mentorship, presence, and collaboration as you find comfort in the driver’s seat of your new, expanding life.
How long is a typical time to be in consistent sessions?
For Therapy, individuals and families will receive a 3-, 6-, or 12-month projection of the work we can accomplish together in therapy. This varies depending on the presenting issue, as well as the therapy modality we choose together as a team.
For Life Enrichment Planning, session plans vary more widely, with some having weekly sessions for some time, monthly sessions, or once-a-quarter.
We review progress every 6 weeks to track goals, celebrate wins and changes, and prepare for the next unfolding.
Does Therapy always work?
Yes. Therapy works every single time, if you work it yourself. We discuss what this means in the first session.
